Maureen Ann Lapham

Maureen Lapham passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 11, 2024. Maureen was born July 27th, 1932, daughter of Marie McCabe Pelletier and Edward Pelletier.
Maureen married Bill Croze in 1953 and raised their 9 children on Brewster Rd. Bristol. She later met the love of her life Tom Lapham and spent the last 38 years with him. They resided at North Eastham, Cape Cod and Vero Beach, Florida. Maureen was a happy soul, always smiling and was endeared to everyone she met. She lived a “Blessed” life where she traveled, entertained, played tennis, bocce ball, shuffleboard, painted and gardened. Maureen had many lifelong friendships that she cherished. She would light up a room with her charm and wit, always positive, joyful and grateful. Maureen was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Tom, brother Bob Pelletier, and grandson Richie Caron. She is survived by her 9 children who she adored: Ed (Elie) of Lafayette, CA, Bill of Bristol, Mary Cay Caron (Rick) of Bristol, Eileen Breault (Marcel), of Terryville, Joe (Tracy) of Bristol, Jane Carey (Brian) of East Haddam, Sheila Gencarelli (Rick) of Portland Oregon, Patti Laure (Martin) of Litchfield, and Greg (Tammy) of Bristol. Maureen was blessed with 22 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. A gravesite service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 10:30 AM directly at St. Joseph Cemetery , Bristol, followed by a reception.
