Mary Bonadeo, 83, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Born September 7, 1930 in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Adele (Seconda) Bonadeo.
Mary was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the UCONN Women’s Basketball team. She also enjoyed traveling around with her sister Betty, treating themselves to long trips out West especially to Red Rock Country and seeing the majestic views. If you needed a tip on hardware, Mary was the one to go to. After working for numerous years in Sales Customer Service for Black & Decker, she was truly an expert in her field. Most importantly, she loved her family and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
She leaves her sister Betty Bonadeo of Bristol; her nieces and nephews Eugene and Joyce Bianchi of Temecula, CA, Marvin and Barbara Bianchi of Bristol, Ronald and Nancy Bianchi of Terryville, and Harry and Jane Tutko of Narragansett, RI; a great-niece Jennifer Callaway and great-nephews Scott Bianchi and James and Peter Tutko. She was preceded in death by a brother Reynold Bonadeo and a sister and her husband Enes and Jack Bianchi.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bristol Hospital Hospice along with Sheriden Woods Health Care Center for their kindness and compassion while Mary was in their care.
