I visited The 'Gables today - I left there a year ago- and was saddened to see the notice on your Mom whom I knew as Peg.
I was fortunate to have spent time with her in my time there as Resident Services Director- and have met several of her children-
Peg was the most gracious, lovely, kind and sensible people I have ever met. Her faith in her Church was foremost along with her family.
She was always so respectful and considerate of others and never wanted any sort of fuss and bother or attention.
A good steady rock and a super elegant lady- she had the most amazing lovely hair that I envied daily.
What an amazing legacy.
I shall think of her often and with affection.
Take care
