Andrea M. Bairrington

Andrea “Andie” Marie Bairrington, 60, passed away surrounded by her family on March 31st, 2022, after a long-fought battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Adrian P. and Carol F. (Roy) St. George, formerly of Bristol, CT. She was survived by her siblings Rene St. George of Belmont, NH, Alan St. George of Terryville, CT, David St. George of Denison, TX, and Darlene St. George-Galindez of Westfield, MA.
Andie was born on July 8th, 1961, in New Britain, CT. She graduated from Bristol Eastern High School in 1979. She went to nursing school in Cocoa Florida where she met James Bairrington. They married on March 30th, 1991. They celebrated 31 years of marriage. She was survived by her daughter Caitlin (Bairrington) Doucette and husband Matthew of Queensbury, NY, her daughter Rachel (Bairrington) Perry and her husband Jacob of Bristol, CT, and her daughter Danielle Bairrington and boyfriend Matthew Bengtson of Bristol, CT. She also leaves behind many grand pups.
Andrea had a large interest in sewing, family gatherings, the beach, and gardening. She took much pride in the accomplishments of her daughters and their significant others. Her drive to help others in need and compassionate nature made her destined to become a nurse. She had the biggest heart for her patients and family. Her faith guided her through life. Her life of service was a testament to her love of God.
Calling hours will be held on April 8th, 2022, at O’Brien Funeral Home at 24 Lincoln Ave Bristol, CT from 6pm to 8pm. A memorial service will be held on April 9th, 2022, at Liberty Baptist Church at 265 Maple Ave Bristol, CT, at 3pm. The burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery at 522 Terryville Ave Bristol, CT, at 9am.
