Barbara P. Kasabucki

Barbara (Porowski) Kasabucki, 77, of Plainville/Bristol, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. She was born on January 1, 1944 in Bristol, daughter of the late Stanley and Irene (Lempek) Porowski.

Barbara was born and raised in Bristol until moving to Plainville where she resided for 44 years. She was a hairdresser for 18 years at Miss Ann’s Beauty Salon and later worked at Forestville Stop and Shop for 17 years. Barbara enjoyed gardening, embroidering and traveling. Over the years, she most liked to travel to Florida, Hawaii, Canada and Cape Cod. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.

Barbara is survived by her sister Joanne Dooey and her husband Samuel Paul of Bristol; niece and goddaughter Rebecca (Dooey) Turgeon and her husband Dan of Glastonbury; great niece and nephews Kathleen and Benjamin of Glastonbury and several cousins.

Services were held privately.

In lieu of flower donation it can be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St., Bristol or donators choice in her memory.
