Betty G. Bartlett

Betty G. Bartlett, 99, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 15, 2021.
Betty was born on August 2, 1921 in New Haven, CT the daughter of the late Bernard and Betty (Olson) Skinner.
She was a very young widow who cared for her 3 young children ages 9, 7 and 2. Her life was devoted to her children. When her children went to school, she worked at the W.T. Grant Company on the Boulevard and then went to work at the Aetna Ins. Co and worked there until her retirement.
She is survived by her children Barbara Olejarz of Bristol, Alan Bartlett and his wife Anne of Bristol and Marilyn Popolizio of Amston, CT; her grandchildren, Caoimhghin Ó Súilleabháin, Sherry Bouchard, SSG Elaine Bartlett, Nicolas Popolizio, Kim Wills and Kelly Diana; great-grandchildren Sabaré and Spencer Boisvert, Victoria Bouchard, Alexis and Daniel Popolizio, Owen and Gwendolyn Wills and Lydia Diana and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles A. Bartlett; her brothers Donald, Harold and Aro Skinner and her sister Margaret Belantoino.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 11 AM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., followed by a procession to West Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation https://www.kidney.org/
