Bradford G. Wolf

Bradford (Brad) G. Wolf, retired owner of Wolf Printing Company and 60 year Elk member (BPOE #1010) passed away on April 21, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. He was 85 years old.
Brad was born August 10, 1936 to George and Genave Wolf in Hartford, CT. Brad was the eldest of four sons, all which predeceased him. His bothers were George, Peter and Christopher.
He started working at Wolf Printing, his father’s company when he was 13 years old as an apprentice; as work began right after the school day ended. Brad served proudly and honorably for eight years in the National Guard.
Patricia, Brad’s first wife passed away after 34 years of marriage and they had three children, Steve, Terri and Joan. At the time of his passing, Brad was married to Mary Jane for 25 years. Brad was quickly adopted into Mary Jane’s family which included her two adult children, Lisa Marie and Clifford.
Brad was an avid volunteer for children’s charity events at Lake Compounce and the first to lend a hand for a neighbor-in-need, especially if it involved his snowblower. An avid reader, he was a fan of Stuart Woods. Brad also felt at home on the water and spent many a summer planning outings on his boat, though catching fish eluded him. Brad swam laps daily in his pool while battling falling leaves.
Brad was proud of his 11 grandchildren; Christopher, Christina, Amanda, Kevin, Sarah, Megan, Lindsay, Leah, Laura, Zach and Alix and 5 great-grandchildren; Lorraine, Alexis, Jenna, Brooke and Lilah.
He also leaves behind the significant others of his children and grandchildren; Noreen, Samuel, Bryan, Crystal, Jeremy, Sean, Carly, Bill, Josh, Matthew, Jerry, Linda, Jeremy.
Calling hours for Brad will be held on Thursday April 28th at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Avenue, Bristol from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with the Elks Funeral Ritual at 11:30. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
