Catherine Eileen Misluk was born on September 21, 1965, to Peter P. Misluk, Sr. and Patricia Eileen (Ahearn) Misluk in Southington Connecticut. She was a lifelong Forestville resident and was educated in the Bristol school system and graduated from Bristol Central High School. Katie, as she was known to her friends and family, was a lover of all of nature’s beauty, wild birds, in particular, were a fascination and a delight to her. She loved to travel and has visited many European capitals. She even ventured as far away as Tahiti for a tropical vacation. Her many interests and loves included reading, travel, museums, the natural sciences, archeology, and time spent with her large extended family.
Katie was predeceased by both of her parents and infant triplet sister Mary Teresa Misluk and her best pal Sunny dog. She leaves behind her brothers Peter P. Misluk, Jr., of Mt. Kisco, N.Y., Steven A. Misluk, Sr., of Bristol, a sister Patricia A. (Misluk) Pierce, of Bristol, and two additional brothers, David M. Misluk of Plainville, and her triplet brother, Daniel M. Misluk of Bristol, and two loving sisters-in-law, Karen L Misluk of Maine and Susan D Misluk of Bristol, 18 nieces and nephews and 23 grandnieces and grandnephews.
At Katie's request, there will be a graveside service where her cremated remains will be interned in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bristol at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are welcome to honor Katie's memory by doing an act of kindness for God's creatures in her name or by making a memorial contribution to:
