Donald Leo Berube

Donald Leo Berube, 83, of Bristol, passed away on Monday, May 29 2023. He was born on December 4, 1939 in Van Buren, Maine, son of the late Leo and Wellena (Dumais) Berube.

Donald was the loving husband of Nancy Berube, who passed away only five days before he did. He served our country in the US Army and later worked as a machine operator for Fafner Bearing Co. Donald was an avid fan of the UCONN Girls basketball team.

Donald is survived his sons Gary Berube and his wife Sharon of Bristol, David Berube of Bristol; grandchildren Emily Chiaradio and her husband John of Bristol, Mitchell Berube of Bristol; 7 siblings and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 directly at St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Bristol at 10AM. Burial and military honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
