Donald J. “Papa Duck” Therriault, 85, of Bristol, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021. He was born on February 5, 1936 in Old Town, ME, son of the late Ernest and Alma (Cormier) Therriault.
   
Donald was the loving husband of Carole (Ayotte) Therriault for 65 years. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather to many.
 
He was a factory worker at TRW-Ball Bearings for 34 years and worked at the City of Bristol for 13 years. Donald was a founding member of the Bristol Recovery Club, Inc. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox, cooking and playing pool.
 
Besides his wife Carole, Donald is survived by his sons Alan Therriault and his wife Libby of Bristol, Howard Therriault and his wife Terri of Bristol, Carl Therriault and his wife Sheila of Farmington, Donald P. Therriault and his former wife Pam Therriault, both of Bristol; daughters Debra Coolbeth of Plainville, and Teresa Therriault-Merkel and her wife Christine of DE; nephew Michael Therriault and his wife Jeannine; nieces Traci Roy and her partner Keith Bradshaw, and Shelley Seymour; as well as 19 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
 
He is pre-deceased by his brothers Ernest Therriault, Edmond Therriault, sister Elaine Rayburn, and nephew Ronald Therriault.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Pines and Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Don.

A funeral will be held on July 17, 2021 at St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Street, Bristol for a 10:00 am Memorial Mass. Burial will follow directly afterward at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
