Duane J. Faber

Duane Faber, 35, of Bristol, CT, departed for Heaven Sept. 12, 2021, at Hartford Hospital, with mom and dad lovingly by his side.
He was born on Jan. 28, 1986 at Hartford Hospital, to loving parents Kathy and Robert Faber.

Duane loved music, boating, swimming, and going for long rides searching for that perfect apple pie.
He was kind, sharing, caring, and a perfect gentleman, with a great sense of humor. He set the bar for all of us in those attributes.

Duane is survived by his mom and dad, grandmothers Josephine Perzan and Janet Faber, aunts and uncles Cathy and Frank Joslyn, Beth and Ed McGovern, Roxy and Brian Cybulski, his aunt Helen and Joey. Cousins Brad Chase and his wife Katie Chase and their sons, Frankie from the Vineyard, Matt McGovern, and many others. His best friends Dan Turcotte, Alexis Walker, Aaron Grechko and many, many others.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave. Bristol/Forestville, CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. directly at St. Gregory Church in Bristol, CT, followed by a procession to St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol.

Donations may be made in his memory to Hartford Hospital ICU, Bristol EMT, Bristol Police Department, or Bristol Fire Department.
