Edna M. L’Heureux, 97, of Forestville, passed away peacefully Monday evening, November 30, 2015, surrounded by the love of her family.
Edna was born on December 11, 1917 in Bristol a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Baltrusch) Lynch and lived in Forestville most of her life. She retired as an assistant cook in the Greene-Hills School cafeteria after many years. Edna was a very loving woman, devoted to her family. She had been a den mother in the Cub Scouts and was a member of the former Forestville Mothers Club many years ago. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like working on her Word Search puzzles and just sitting on her front porch people watching. She had also been an active parishioner at St. Matthew Church in her younger days.
She leaves her children, Beth Schwarzmann of Bristol and Mark L'Heureux of Forestville, grandchildren Joseph and Cynthia, great grandchildren Chad, Kayla, Brandon, Bryana, Amanda and Lindsey; and her great great grandchildren Audrey, Anabel and Abigail. She was predeceased by her brothers Clarence and Joseph Lynch.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, December 3, 2015 between 5:00 and 7:00 pm at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville/Bristol.
