Evelyn Davila

Evelyn Davila, 69, of Bristol, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at home. She was born on March 13, 1952 in Manhattan, NY, daughter of the late Roosevelt and Edith (Wright) Miller.

Evelyn graduated from the High School of Fashion Industry in 1970.  She studied phlebotomy and received an EKG Associate Degree from Fordham University graduating in the Class of 1997.  Evelyn started out as a medical assistant at Mount Sinai Hospital in NY and later moved to Bristol where she worked for First Student as a monitor for the company.  

Evelyn was the best Mom anyone could have and is survived by her sons Germaine Singleton and his wife Melissa of Bristol, Ali Sutherland and his wife Sara of Bristol; grandchildren Siera and Saniyah Singleton, Dynashia and Joseph Davila; sister Zina Cullars; her nieces Kailna and Aeisha and her closest friend Melody Garcia and her children Eric, Brian and Jayden.

She is predeceased by her sons Jose and Ephrain Davila and her sister Vicky Cullars.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 5PM until 7PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol, CT 06010.
