Ewen "Sonny" McLeod III

Ewen “Sonny” McLeod, III, 72, of Bristol, passed unexpectedly early Friday morning, July 6, 2018 at his home.

Sonny was born in Hartford on March 17, 1946 the son of the late Ewen McLeod, II and Margaret (Taylor) McLeod. He retired after over 40 years as a tool maker with Aerospace Techniques in Middletown. He was their first employee. Sonny enjoyed fishing of all kinds and enjoyed following the membership of MENSA.

He leaves his children, Cathleen Markham (John) of Bristol, Ewen “Butch” McLeod, IV of Bristol and; sisters Margaret Sellers of New Jersey and Euphemia Warner of Berlin; grandchildren Mariah and Jonathan Markham of Bristol and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Sierra Lynn Markham and niece, Linda Marie Warner.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
