Francois “Frank” E. Martin, 79, of Bristol, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday morning, March 26, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Morin) Martin.

Frank was born on April 18, 1941 in St. Anne, N.B., Canada a son of the late Theodule and Azilda (Parent) Martin. Many years ago he and his brothers formed the Martin Brothers Band. He was retired as foreman of the grinding room at Connecticut Spring & Stamping Co., Farmington.

Frank was a member of St. Gregory the Great Church, Bristol and of the Knights of Columbus and was the number one fan of the New York Yankees. He thoroughly enjoyed playing golf, trips to Old Orchard Beach, ME and quality time spent with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter, Lisa (Martin) Holinka; grandchildren Damian Martin and Destiny Henderson; brothers, sisters and their spouses, Robert Martin, Gaetane Voisine (Germain), Donata Lavoie (Norman), Paul Martin (Ghislane), Clauda  Lavertu (Edgar), Pierrette Roy (Robert), Richard Martin (Leslie) and Georgette Gerard (Daniel); his sister-in-law Jackie Martin and many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Rose Martin, his brother Laurier Martin, sister Edwina Martin, sister-in-law Agatha Martin and brother-in-law Ronald Martin.

Family and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Gregory Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol. A procession will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave., Bristol for the committal and interment.
