George was the loving husband of Geraldine (Anthony) Mikulak for 51 years. While retired Chip and Geraldine spent most of their time together. One of their favorite activities was to go to the casino and try their luck.

In his senior year, at Bristol Central High School, he was the class president as well as the valedictorian. During this time he worked as a life guard at Lake Compouce. He opened The Sound Co in 1987 and spent the next 14yrs growing the business. He was an avid golfer and played at several prominent courses throughout his life. His favorite course was The Desert Springs Golf Club in Palm Desert, CA. He loved the water whether it was a little swimming hole he found as a kid or the beaches of southern CA. Chip loved to play his guitar and sing with his wife Geraldine. He was a people person and made lifelong friends where ever he went. He had a great sense of humor which was both witty and comical. He was also a bit of a daredevil and loved riding his motorcycle in his younger years.
