Gloria J. DiMichele

Gloria J. DiMichele, 77, of Bristol, passed peacefully Sunday, June 13, 2021, surrounded by her family that she so deeply loved.  She was an angel in life that finally got her wings.  She was the wife of the late Ralph J. DiMichele.
 
Gloria was born on March 9, 1944, the daughter of the late Raymond and Cecile (Morin) Holmes.  She was a unique, genuinely kind and compassionate woman that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.  She had a vivacious personality and a zest for life while always being her authentic self.  Gloria enjoyed being social by surrounding herself with an endless circle of friends. She had a tremendous faith as an Episcopalian and most recently as a member of Asbury Methodist Church and the B.P.O. Elk’s Lodge #1010 in Bristol.
 
Gloria leaves behind her spiritual partner, Roy Diyulio; sons Vincent White of Ozark, MO, Scott White and his wife Heather of Granby; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one on the way. She also leaves behind her sisters, Rebecca Milbrandt (Gerard) of Ozark, MO, Raelene Phillips (Robert) of Sturbridge, MA, Cheryl Plourde (Russell) of Plainville , Bonnie Domingue (Michael) of Yulee, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her sisters, Lillian Sargent and Peggy Potvin.
 
Gloria’s Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Asbury Methodist Church, 90 Church Ave., Forestville/Bristol.  Committal service and interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave., Bristol.
