It is sometimes hard to know why some things happen as they do, for so much happiness was centered around your son over his lifetime. It must seem so hard to comprehend why he is still not here. It certainly must be so painful and I am so sorry. Think of him with pride as your love for him will remain. Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched....for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.... Sincerely Tina Matthews with loving thoughts and prayers .

I used to work with Jacob at The Hartford in the mailroom. He was always a kind, funny young man with so much energy and laughter. May he rest in eternal peace!♥️

Robin, Mark, Katie - Jake was a part of our family. All of you helped to make our neighborhood truly a great place to live! Jake referred to my father as "grandpa" and helped greatly with little but important things like mowing the lawn or helping to shovel us out. I looked forward to seeing him around the neighborhood and at the Haunted Graveyard. We shared a love of Dr. Who, Nightmare Before Christmas, technology and scary things in general. When you moved, we were sad but I was glad to stay in touch with Jake and repaid his many kindnesses by giving him household items for his new apartment. Many of the milestones in life, good and bad, we shared and I will miss him dearly.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Jake was fun to work with, and one of the few people who understood my geeky references to Tim Burton and Gallifrey. He will be missed by so many.
