Janet Lee Newton

Janet Lee Newton, 64, of Bristol passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. She was born on November 24, 1956 in Hartford, daughter of the late Arthur and Irene (Brodurex) Newton.
 
Janet worked at Pratt and Whitney for over 40 years in shipping and receiving. She had a love for black bears and always wanted to see one in person. Janet enjoyed camping and was a great mother, grandmother and sister.
 
Janet is survived by her sons Trevor Newton of Bristol, Dustin Newell, Sr. and his wife Gina Dionne of Plymouth; grandson Dustin Newell, Jr.; brother James Newton and his wife Cheryl of Ellington and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother Paul Newton.
 
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave. Bristol from 10AM until a service that will begin at 12PM.
