Joseph John Majersky, 93, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at Ingraham Manor in Bristol on Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was born on December 9, 1927, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Kostrisak) Majersky. Joseph was the loving husband of the late Mary (Kiriluk) Majersky.

Joseph served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by B. Vetrano Beer distributors for 43 years and was a member of Teamsters Local 1035. Joseph was a member of the Disabled American Veterans of Bristol, where he was a Commander and House Chairman who provided meals for veterans for several years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Matthew Men’s Retreat League for over 50 years. Joseph was an avid fan of the NY Yankees.

Joseph is survived by his sons David Majersky of East Lyme; Michael Majersky and his wife MaryElizabeth of MA; daughter Susan Majersky and her partner Allan Czellecz of Bristol; grandchildren Thomas and Claire Gaski, Emily, Matthew and Elizabeth Majersky; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and wife, Joseph is predeceased by his brothers John, Stephen and Rudolph Majersky, a granddaughter Amanda Cistulli and his girlfriend of many years Bea Caisse.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, starting at 9:00am at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol with a procession that will leave for St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Bristol for an 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial. A burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
