Joseph R. Sabato

Joseph Roger Sabato, 32, of Bristol, passed on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Hospital for Special Care, New Britain.

Joseph “JoJo” “Joey” was born in New Haven on December 20, 1988, the son of Joseph Sabato of Bristol and Kim S. Thomas of Hamden. Joe also leaves his brother and best friend Jason Sabato. He was a graduate of Bristol Central High School where he lettered in swimming. He went on to graduate from Porter & Chester institute and became a licensed HVAC technician and supervisor for Ductworks HVAC Services in Southington. Joe was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, kayaking, camping and skiing. He enjoyed these activities with many great friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24, Lincoln Ave., Forestville/Bristol. Please adhere to all COVID-19 restrictions. His funeral will begin on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. The procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen St., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Committal services and interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave., Bristol.
