Joyce M. Green

Joyce M. Green, 82, a resident of Village Green, Forestville for the past 15 years, passed away Thursday morning, December 20, 2018.

Joyce was the daughter of Edward and Edna Green and the sister of the late Edward Green. She was a 1954 graduate of Bristol High School and attended St. Joseph College graduating with a degree in nursing. After many years, she joined the religious life and became Sister Mary Pierre of the Sisters of St. Joseph. She then graduated from Boston College with a degree in Social Sciences.

She leaves her cousins, Bob Caron of Bristol and Carole Kauppila of Myrtle Beach.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. directly at Church of St. Matthew, 120 Church Ave., Forestville.
