Kate Emelia Abekah

Kate Emilia Abekah, 66, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday May 10, 2021.
Kate was born on January 25, 1955 in Ghana, the daughter of the late Samuel and Joanna (Odoom) Abekah.
She was a Registered Nurse and an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters Wilhemina Williams and Evelyn Amoah; her sons Wilfred Williams, Wilberforce Arhin and James Tawiah; her grandchildren Marian, Isabel, Emmanuel, Jayden, Ryan, Kate, Hannah, and Anabel; her brothers Sandy, Joseph, Isaac, and Emmanuel Abekah; her sisters Lucy Abekah, Grace Essel and Sasana Duncan and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Samuel Odoom and her sister Adwoa Abekah.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday May 22, 2021 at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol at 9:30 AM until the start of Kate’s funeral service at 11AM followed by a procession to Forestville Cemetery, Circle St. Bristol.
