Kenneth E. Lindsley, 91, of Newington, passed quietly Wednesday morning, July 28, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jennie S. Lindsley.

Kenneth was born in Oneonta, NY on May 11, 1930 the son of the late Gerald and Alice (Powers) Lindsley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and proudly served during the Korean Conflict and honorably discharged in 1954. He had retired from Pratt & Whitney as an inspector in quality control.

Kenneth enjoyed archery, bee keeping with his son Bruce, visiting and building bridges in Vermont, his grandkids, leatherwork, attending church with Jennie and woodworking. He had been a member of the State Police Auxiliary and had been a firearms dealer.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children and their spouses, Jerry Lindsley (Mary), Bruce Lindsley (Lisa), Raymond and Thom Lindsley; sister Norma Jean Thomas; grandchildren, Brooke Mitchell (Benton), Laura Mariglino (JD), Elaine Dennis (Chris) and Emily Lindsley; and 1 great grandchild on the way. He was predeceased by his grandson, Sean Lindsley and by his brothers Bill, Norm and Ron Lindsley.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. directly at the Church of St. Matthew, 120 Church Ave., Forestville/Bristol. Navy Funeral Honors will be accorded following the Mass in front of the church.
