Lillian M. (Morin) Anderson

Lillian M. “Lil” Anderson, 92 of Bristol, passed peacefully Wednesday evening April 22, 2020.  She was the wife of the late Albert C. Anderson.

Lillian was born in Caribou, Maine on January 1, 1928 the daughter of the late Simeon and Clara (Damboise) Morin.  She retired many years ago as a sales associate with J.C. Penney, and later as a greeter for the Emporium in Disneyland.

Lillian was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Bristol and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  She loved her family dearly and was a true people person!

She leaves her sons, Leander Anderson and his wife Kathryn and Mark Anderson; daughter Laurie Cote and her husband Richard; brothers Simeon Morin and his wife Yolanda and Wilson Morin and his wife Claire; sisters-in-law Mae and Jacqueline Morin. She was “Meme” to her grandchildren Kirsten Gilbert (Nate), Lindsay Guerriere (Mike), Joslyn Rowell (Brett), Alison Willard (Calvin), Anna Ferretti (Luca), and Steven Anderson; great grandchildren, Nico, Anthony, Grace, Teddy, Leland, Jack, Sawyer, Quinn, Wesley, Cole, Kayden, and Talon; several nieces and nephews.

Lillian's memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020 at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville/Bristol.  She will be laid to rest next to her late husband Albert at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol following the service.  In her memory, contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church, 736 King St., Bristol, CT 06010.  To leave an online message of condolence, share a memory or photo, please visit Lil’s memorial tribute page at www.OBrien-FuneralHome.com.
