There are not words to express my grief at the passing of one of the brightest and most beautiful spirits whom I have ever met. Linda ""Raya" to me you were a true avatar, in the highest most spiritual sense of the word, sent to this planet with your beautiful heart and soul and stellar smile to inspire and help. And you did help, you helped to bring bright new futures to hundreds if not thousands of vulnerable lost and abandoned, often injured darling critters condemned to high kill, low care holding pens in slaughter house "shelters" all over California. And this despite the cruel side of LA, a city with a dark side fueled by large egos and small consciences.
To me you were no just a hero for the animals but a highly developed human being. Our world is not best suited for angels. But I will never forget that I knew one. Peace and Blessings to you, my friend.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Linda 'Raya' Careb. She had such a huge compassionate heart and was so deeply moved by the injustice to animals she witnessed on so many levels...and she never ceased with her dedication especially to the chi's... My heart is breaking, filled with sorrow for her own sorrow, and for all those she felt helpless to help. Now she can help on a different level, her departure and encouragement of sorts to us to continue the tireless work of rescuing and advocating for these precious beings.π₯πππ

I was so shocked to hear of this and well, still in shock. Linda was a person who dedicated her time, talent and love for animals to helping them find a new way of life. We spoke on so many occasions on how we could change the lives LA animals somehow and her ideas were never ending. Linda, you brought a bright light to everything you touched. I will miss you here but glad you are watching over us from above.

I only learned of Linda and her work though another rescue group. My deepest condolences to her family in the loss of this bright spirit. We need more of her in this world. She worked to make a difference and alleviate suffering. May she be at peace. May all the animals in her care find homes and greet her some day in the afterlife to say thank you. I am so sorry.

I am in absolute shock. Linda was a very kind person who I met as a dog rescuer. We appreciated each other's efforts & had helped each other with Chi's. I wish she would have called me. RIP Linda honey you deserve it. I pray you are with God and that your greeting at the Bridge was just flatout amazing.
