Maria S. Klein, 93, of Bristol, passed away on Saturday. February 1, 2020. She was born on December 21, 1926 in Germany, daughter of the late Alfred and Emma (Bohm) Seber.
Maria was the loving wife of the late Roy Klein. Married in Germany in 1948 and moved to North Dakota and farmed, and then in 1954 moved to Connecticut to raise a family. She was an educated seamstress who turned into an assembler at Hamilton Standard working on transformers for the Black Hawk Helicopters. Loved visiting her home in Germany, but what meant most to her was spending time here with family gatherings, cooking and enjoyed her dogs. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed.
Maria is survived by her daughter Marcy Nadolny and her husband Joe of Burlington; son Ron Klein and his wife Lisa of Southington; grandchildren James, Michelle, Jonathan, Jeremy and Nathan; great-grandchildren Michael, Joseph, Maxwell and Owen and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville/Bristol starting at 8:30AM until leaving for St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville.
