Marian (Kielski) Anderson

July 14, 1947 ~ June 21, 2021 (age 73) 73 Years Old

Tribute

Marian Kielski Anderson passed away June 21, 2021, with her family by her side.

Marian was born to Marion Kielski and Virginia Rogers in New Britain, Connecticut, who predeceased her.  She was married in 1966 to James A. Anderson, which ended in divorce.  During her marriage she had two children, James R. Anderson and Debra A. Anderson.

Marian relocated to South Carolina after meeting her soul mate Richard S. Palazzo, who she spent her life with until his passing March 11, 2021.  Marian enjoyed volunteering for numerous organizations while in South Carolina and took pride of being the owner of Teddy Grams.  Marian had a passion for cooking and having a green thumb, taking pride in caring for her plants.  However, Marian was known most for her compassion, empathy and always for her signature Christmas ornaments.  Marian lived with Multiple Sclerosis for most of her life with dignity and grace and her strong belief in God helped her through every day.

Marian and Richard relocated in 2000 to Plainfield, CT where she and Rich shared most of their memorable times with her sister Ruthie (John) Thibeault, who she considered her best friend and confidant.

Marian leaves behind her children, James R. Anderson and Debra A. Anderson, both of Lincoln, Maine. Five grandchildren, Matthew, Erin, Katie, Allie, and Cassie.  Three great grandchildren, Eliza, Arianna, and Bryson and several nieces and nephews.  Marian leaves behind four siblings, Deanna Kielski of Southington, CT, Neil Kielski (Rose) of Canterbury, CT, Wayne Kielski of Southington, CT, and Ruthie (John) Thibeault of Plainfield, CT.  Marian was predeceased by a brother Ronald Kielski.

In Marian's true kindness, faith and special way of comforting her loved ones, Marian leaves the thought that when you see a butterfly, always know it will be me checking in on you.

The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Troy Frazer, Dr. Paul Licata and the nursing staff in the ICU unit at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital who selflessly cared for Marian and made her last days comfortable and allowed her to pass with dignity.
