Mark K. Petruzzi, Sr., 83, of Bristol, died on February 28, 2020.
He was born on October 14, 1936 in Waterbury, the son of the late Canio and Lucy Petruzzi.
Mark married his High School sweetheart, Rosalie Petruzzi and then spent 6 years as an air force mechanic before becoming a successful sales representative in the electronics entertainment industry. He later started the successful professional audio and lighting marketing firm, Northeast Marketing and worked until the age of 83. Mark loved sailing, music, food, wine, and family and will be remembered as a devoted father and husband.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Mark and Susan Petruzzi, Mike and Mary Petruzzi, Jeanne and Paul Dandrow, Steve and Terri Petruzzi, Lisa and Julian Wilde and James Petruzzi and his partner Wendy Swee; his grandchildren, Dan, Lauren, Jake, Joseph, Jonathan, Christine, Maria and her spouse Zack Gayton, Christopher, Brittany and Rachel; his great-grandchildren Alex, William, Isaac, Corin, Evelyn and Violet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated directly at St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave, Bristol, on Friday March 6, 2020 at 10 AM. The burial with military honors will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery 522 Terryville, Ave, Bristol, CT on Friday immediately following the Mass.
