Mark F. Sullivan

Mark F. Sullivan "Sully", 64, of Bristol, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Saint Francis Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on May 31, 1956 in Hartford, son of the late John and Grace (Guinan) Sullivan.

Mark loved nothing more than sporting his Sullivan & Sons brand at Stafford Motor Speedway. He enjoyed watching Ryan Preece race with his boys, a good LA Rams win, and making anyone and everyone laugh around him- which didn't take much. His quick wit, and inviting personality could bring out smiles in complete strangers, and his door was always open for a "cold one" for those he loved dearly. He lived ever so simply because all he needed was his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his two very best friends, his sons JP and Rex Sullivan and their wives Teresa of Bristol and Kim of Plymouth; his ex-wife and long-time friend Debra Sullivan of Southington; and his pride and joys- his grandchildren, Savannah and Chase Sullivan of Plymouth, as well as several nieces and nephews, whom he treated as his own. He is predeceased by six siblings.

In accordance with Sully's wishes, his son's will be hosting a "Celebration of life" from 2PM until 6PM this Saturday, May 22, 2021 at The Italian Social Club, 31 Barber Street Bristol, CT 06010.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital at St Francis Hospital, so they can continue to take care of others' loved ones, the way they cared for "BIG."
