Mieczyslaw S. Zagrodnik

Mieczyslaw S. Zagrodnik, 84, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2022. Born November 8, 1937 in Przemykow Poland, son of the late Stanislaw and Leonina Zagrodnik.

Mieczyslaw (Mike) worked as a set up machine operator at Superior Electric for 36 years until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, tending his garden and watching the Patriots. He will be remembered for his curious nature and ingenuity.

Mieczyslaw is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marianna; his daughter Yolanda Antoniak and her husband Mark of Wethersfield; his son Wayne Zagrodnik and his wife Lisa of Torrington; his grandchildren, Robert Antoniak and his wife Angela, Kathryn (Zagrodnik) Germano and her husband Matthew, Thomas Antoniak and his fiancée Erin Morrissey, and Mitchell Zagrodnik and a great granddaughter on the way. He is predeceased by his sister, Helena Zagrodnik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 11AM directly at St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St., Bristol. A committal service will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
