Nicholas C. Yount

Nicholas Christian Yount of Wolcott, left this earth to be with God and all of the angels on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Nick was born in Hartford on April 1, 1991 the son of Philip S. Yount and Susan (Moore) Yount. Nick lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the past year working as a landscaper. He loved all types of music and enjoyed the outdoors hiking swimming and camping. Hockey was his favorite sport.

Nick’s battle with addiction was long and hard. He fought it like a fierce warrior until he finally put down his sword. Nick lived his life to the fullest. Courageous, loyal, proud, loving and strong are just a few words to describe his being. Heaven has gained one crazy angel. Enjoy the Kingdom of Heaven, Nick, wild and free for eternity. Forever 27.

Besides his parents, he leaves his sister, Kelsey Yount of Southington; maternal grandparents Audrey and Darrell Moore of East Granby; paternal grandmother Norma Yount of FL; uncles and aunts Jeffrey and Stacey Moore of Bloomfield, Bill Yount of FL and Suzanne Carter of NH; cousins Jessica and Jennifer Therian of NH; his godmother Cindy Kumins of East Granby and many, many friends and his Band of Brothers.

Friends and loved ones are invited to calling hours on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville (Bristol) beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. when a service will commence. Immediately after the service everyone is invited to a Celebration of Nick’s Life at the Old Well Tavern, 20 Tariffville Rd (Rt 315 Off Rt 10), Simsbury, CT.
