Paul M. Thibodeau, 77, of Unionville, passed peacefully early Wednesday morning, January 20, 2021.
Paul was born in Hartford on December 4, 1943, the son of the late Lucien and Georgianna (LeBeau) Thibodeau. In his youth he enjoyed sabbaticals to Canada with his Mother. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Farmington. Paul had also been a member of the Knights of Columbus, was an avid Red Sox fan and many years ago had the pleasure of meeting Bob Hope. In spite of Paul’s limitations, he tried hard to be a part of daily life.
Paul leaves his cousins, Maureen Drzewiecki, Marilyn Coppola and her husband Angelo, Carol Houle, Bruce England and Patricia LeBeau; special friends Mr. and Mrs. James Foote; and all of his personal care attendants over the years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Patrick Church, 110 Main St., Farmington. Please adhere to all current COVID-19 protocols including social distancing and the wearing of a face mask. Committal and interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave., Bristol.
