October 15, 1932 ~ November 26, 2018 (age 86) 86 Years Old

Tribute

Robert A. Therrien, 86, widower of Jeannette (Beattie) Therrien of Plainville, CT, passed away on Monday November 26, 2018 after a period of declining health.
He was born on October 15, 1932 in Bristol, CT and was the son of the late Joseph and Beatrice Therrien.
Robert was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and retiree of Superior Electric. He was a wonderful father and one of his greatest joys was “dunking” his nieces and nephews while swimming. Robert was a lifelong Red Sox fan, religiously followed UConn Husky women’s basketball but for some reason, he was an Indianapolis Colts supporter.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughter Sharon Herdlein of Manchester, NH; grandchildren Anna Herdlein of Lowell, MA and Matthew Herdlein of Manchester, NH; brother Paul Therrien of Collinsville, CT; son-in-law Scott Stirling of Salem, MA; sister Kathy Burns of FL and many nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by his neighbors Gladys Merci and Paul LaBrack.
In addition to his wife, Robert was predeceased by his son, Bruce Therrien.
The family would like to thank Bristol Hospital’s Interventional Radiologists, nursing staff of ICU and G South, Home Health & Hospice and the staff of Apple Rehab in Plainville, CT.
A Celebration of Robert’s life will be held on 12/5/2018, 5PM - 7PM with words of remembrance at 6:30PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol, CT.
