Rosemary Korpita

Rosemary (Hughes) Korpita, 81, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2022 at Bristol Hospital.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on April 27, 1941, daughter of the late James Hughes and Margaret (Rushton) Hughes Sharp.
Rosemary lived for her children and grandchildren, sharing many fond memories with each one. She was known for her wonderful moves on the dance floor and her homemade pierogis. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching soap operas, planting in her flower garden, and traveling locally, and abroad.
She is survived by her three children Robert Korpita, Kim (Korpita) Monahan and her husband Joseph, and Kristen (Korpita) DiMattia; eight grandchildren Andrew and Alex Korpita, Michael and Matthew Korpita, and Lauren, Joshua, Julia and Alexandra DiMattia; two siblings Ella Litzenberger and Ralph Sharp and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three siblings, James and Robert Hughes and Phyllis Feddock.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Friday from 9:30-10:30AM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held after on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11AM at St. Anthony Church (St. Francis De Sales Parish), followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
