Roxanne J Zarrella

Roxanne J. Zarrella, 78, of Bristol, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. She was born on December 5, 1942 in Hudson, NY, daughter of the late John Emerson and Ester (Styles) Funk.

Roxanne was the loving wife of James Zarrella for 45 years. Together they started Zarrella Farms in Plainville and since has been in operation for over 25 years. Roxanne enjoyed cooking, baking and singing. She loved animals and hosting around the holidays. Most of all she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother and she will be missed deeply.

Besides her husband, James, Roxanne is survived by her sons Gregory Love of Farmington, David Love and his wife Diane of Bristol; daughters Derra Zarrella of Bristol, Jessica Speicher and her husband Kevin of Maryland; grandchildren Christine and Brittany Love of Bristol, Ryan Speicher of Maryland; sisters Judy, Janet, and Ester all of NY and Carole of FL and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by one brother.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol from 9:00 AM until a funeral home service that will begin at 11:00 AM.
