Stephen Paul Salvatore

March 18, 1969 ~ December 5, 2019 (age 50) 50 Years Old

Tribute

Stephen Paul Salvatore, 50, of Milford passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019. He was born on March 18, 1969 in Bristol, son of Joseph and Irene Salvatore.

Stephen is the loving husband of Genevieve Park Salvatore for 25 years, and the proud father of Geno Joseph Salvatore.

Stephen loved baseball and was a life-long fan of the New York Yankees much to the chagrin of his Red-Sox loving Nantucket friends. He graduated from Bristol Eastern High School and UCONN. Stephen was an okay fisherman once he learned to take a fish off the hook and a much better scalloper. He and Genevieve loved craft beer and made a New England IPA that was “All-Right”. Stephen enjoyed his job as a construction Project Manager and was proud to have worked on some amazing projects in London, New York and South Africa. He was a good person, a great dad and Genevieve’s best friend. He passed watching his favorite movie, Avengers End Game, and took his leave of us in turn with Tony Stark.

Besides Genevieve, Geno and his parents, Stephen is survived by his brother Joseph R. Salvatore of East Lyme, sister Sheryl Matarazzo and her husband Santo of Wethersfield; nephew Paul and niece Melissa Matarazzo of Wethersfield; mother-in-law Genevieve Park of New Jersey, special Aunt Carol Ann Bartel of Pennsylvania, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 10AM directly at St. Gregory the Great Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Followed by a committal service and interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Geno’s college savings account, via Ugift529.com and enter code J6S-J54.

STEPHEN, WE LOVE YOU 3000
