Theresa Bourgoin

Theresa (Roy) Bourgoin, 96, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was born on January 27, 1925 in Frenchville, ME, daughter of the late Honore and Amanda (Michaud) Roy.

Theresa was the loving wife of the late Sylvio Bourgoin for 78 years before his passing in 2019. Theresa was a true country woman, from churning her own butter to cooking from scratch for many people three times a day. She was a hard worker and was adored by many. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed crossword puzzles and knitting.

Theresa is survived by her children Carlene Raymond of ME, Irma Roberts of Suffield, Alan Bourgoin and his wife, Rose of ME, Philip Bourgoin and his wife Annabell of Bristol, Sandra Cullen of AZ, Glenn Bourgoin and his wife Darlene of Bristol; grandchildren Debbie Cahill and her husband Geoff of FL, Rick Raymond of ME, Cynthia Trinks of Tolland, Keith Raymond of Coventry, Donna Novak of CT, Chad Bourgoin of Bristol, Sarah Matovich and her husband Chase of Bristol, Allison Spinella and her husband Ralph of Wolcott and seven great-grandchildren Bryan Trinks, Lauren Raymond, Brendan and Erin Cahill, Emily Beaulieu, Juliana Spinella and Victoria Matovich.

Besides her husband and parents she is predeceased by her sister Doris Guerrette.

Services will be held in St. Agatha, ME followed by a burial at St. Agatha Cemetery at a later date.
