Tricia P. Genovese

Tricia P. Genovese, 93, of Terryville, passed away on June 11, 2022 following a brief illness. She was born on March 21, 1929, in New Britain, daughter of the late Angelo and Gaetana (Marino) Genovese.

Tricia was raised with her 10 siblings in New Britain, CT. She worked for many years as an operations/facility manager for the Greater Hartford Transit District until her retirement. She also owned a saddle and tack shop; working with and around horses was one of her passions in life. She was also an avid Western fan. In 2005, Tricia moved to Port Charlotte, FL where she lived for the next 10 years until 2015 when she moved back to CT.

Tricia is survived by her two sons Tony Benvenuto and Daniel Benvenuto and his wife Debra Benvenuto; 5 grandchildren, Christina Benvenuto and her fiancé Eric, Stephanie Benvenuto and her husband Ferris, Melissa Benvenuto, Justin Benvenuto and Nathan Benvenuto; her brother Raymond Genovese and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a young son, Jamy Benvenuto and siblings, Tommy and Arthur Genovese, Josephine Ingala, Sally Balboni, Rosie Savino and Madeline Reardon.
