Vincent Patrick Magliulo, 86, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family early Monday morning, August 9, 2021. He was the loving husband of the late Mary (Costanzo) Magliulo.
Vincent was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 21, 1934, son of the late Pasquale “Patsy” and Theresa (Farina) Magliulo. He served our country in the Marine Corps in the Korean War. Vincent was always the life of the party. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, NY Mets and his old time westerns, especially John Wayne movies. He was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
Vincent is survived by his son Vincent Magliulo, Jr. of Coconut Creek, FL; daughters Donna Magliulo of Apex, NC, Theresa Potter and her husband Stephen of New Britain, Kathryn Lavigne and her husband Roland of Bristol, Susan Dattile and her husband Glenn of Coconut creek Florida, FL, and Mary Rice and her husband William of Bristol; 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Vincent is predeceased by his son Patrick Magliulo and grandson David Stanton.
Vincent’s funeral will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 9:45 a.m. from O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville (Bristol) and will proceed to St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Forestville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Committal service and interment will follow at the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. Calling hours will be held on Sunday between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
