William served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. His assignment was with the armored division, touring Germany; upon his Honorable Discharge he accomplished rank to Sergeant. William worked at New Britain Machine, HPM Plastics, then retired from New Britain General Hospital. William shared many fond memories with his family in their favorite vacation spot, Cape Cod where Arnold’s was always the after beach lunch spot. His favorite past times were his side business repairing snow blowers and lawn mowers for family and friends, and his 1965 GTO which brought him great joy bringing those he loved for a spin, especially on Father’s Day.
