George, was a good friend he would help you out with work or talk or time from himself because that's what George dose. We will miss him and his smile and way's, we had fun times at church and I had fun with him fishing on the boat or ice fishing in Maine or spending a weekend at the cape, We were Blessed to know Him and his Family He will be Missed.

To my brother George,
I have a heavy heart, and so many things I wish I would have been able to say to you before your passing. You were the best friend, brother, and just everything that a brother should be. I was reading Greg's tribute to you and so much was true in those remarks. Sitting around the table and remembering the old days was a great time. I wish I would have lived closer to you, things would have been different. Living in aroostook county at the almost tip of Maine does not leave much room for travels. My heart is with you, and I am happy that you are with all the other family members. Al must be so happy. His buddy is with him. I know that we will see you again. And when we do, it will be glorious. I love you wi all my heart. Your sister, Caroline

It was with great sadness that I received the news that my Uncle George passed away. Because of the distances we live and life just getting in the way, I saw Uncle George sparingly. But when I did it was always a great time. I can still remember the times when Uncle Richard, Uncle George, and my Dad Harold would get together for a visit. They would sit around the dinner table after dinner for hours and laugh, argue and do what brothers do. Of course always speaking French. I remember sitting just outside of the dinning room and just listening. I could never understand a word they said but somehow I got the "drift". I found myself laughing out loud when they laughed and be deadly serious when they were serious. It's always heartbreaking when a family member passes. Sometimes the loss is overwhelming. But it's memories like this one that carries you through. My deepest condolences go out to Keith and Karleen, and all of the Lamarre Family. Uncle George lived his life on his terms, and not many people can say that. Rest in peace Uncle George you will be greatly missed .

Greg

Sorry to hear that my friend George has passed. Put in many hours working with him at the Home Depot. George was always a hoot. I'm glad to have known him. He will be missed.

I'm so saddened to hear about your father's passing. I know this is a very difficult time for your family and I understand the pain of such a great loss. He was a great guy and the memories I have of him will not be forgotten. Keith, Karleen, and myself all cooking with him at the Abbey Regina. My first game supper, meals at his house, or just hanging out listening to one of his many amazing stories.
More than a friend, a treasure, like a father to me. I will miss him greatly.
Godspeed George.
Please know I'm thinking of you all. My love and prayers are with you.

So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of George from when i was young. He was a great father to his kids and loved his wife. He had a fiery temper yet was gentle as a lamb. We had many conversations about JESUS. So glad he made peace with our LORD. See you on the other side George. I pray for the family GODs peace and arms of comfort to hold you thru this time.
