Thomas P. O’Brien, a lifelong resident of Bristol, is a graduate of Boston College and a licensed Funeral Director. Tom follows his father and grandfather in managing the O'Brien Funeral Home. Tom and his wife Marie live in Bristol.
Eric G. Granados has been with O’Brien Funeral Home since 2000. He received his mortuary degree from the New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences. Eric resides in Bristol and is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Jay joined the O'Brien Funeral Home in March 2011. A 1975 graduate of the former Simmons Institute of Funeral Service in Syracuse, NY, he has been a licensed funeral director in Connecticut since 1978. Professionally, he had served on the Board of Directors of Selected Independent Funeral Homes and is a member of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association. Jay is an active parishioner of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Waterbury and has served numerous terms on their Vestry. He was Senior Warden from 2006-2008 and 2015-2017. He is a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Waterbury and served two terms as club President, was a longtime member of its Board of Directors and had also served as a Kiwanis Lt. Governor. Jay is a member of the B.P.O.Elk’s Lodge #265; a member and served on the board of managers of the former Waterbury Club in Waterbury; Harmony Lodge #42 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; Scottish Rite Bodies 32nd Degree; Lafayette Consistory; Royal Arch Masons; York Rite Bodies; New Haven Commandery No. 2, Sphinx Temple Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine in Newington and their appointed Master of Ceremonies; member and Past President of the Kaabans Shrine Club in Plymouth; and Past Director in 2010 of Dimaryp Court #66 Royal Order of Jesters.
Paige joined O'Brien Funeral Home in 2015 as an intern
while attending the Mortuary Program at Lincoln College of New England,
graduating in May of 2016 with an Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Mortuary
Science. Paige is now a licensed funeral
director and embalmer. Although she was born in Bristol, Paige was raised in
TN. After graduating from high school she decided to move back to Bristol where
she now resides with her fiancé, Kevin. She enjoys volunteering at Dog Star
Rescue and spending time with her family and dog, Nala.
Rock is a lifelong resident of Bristol. He enjoys biking and keeping busy. Rock joined the O'Brien family in 2007.
Funeral Assistant/ Deacon
Jim, a lifelong resident of Bristol, retired from G.E. in 2013. He is married to Linda McCluskey and enjoys reading in his spare time. Jim is a Deacon at St. Matthew Church in Forestville. Jim joined the O'Brien family in 2013.
Putter, a lifelong resident of Bristol, is married to Ann J. Kilby. He served in the Navy from 1949- 1953. Following the Navy he worked for the Bristol fire department where he retired from in 1984 as Lieutenant. After retirement he took up fishing. Putter is an active member of the American Legion, the Bristol Senior Center, the Korean Vets Association, and St. Joseph Church. Putter has enjoyed working with the team at O’Brien Funeral Home since 2006.
Rich is a lifelong resident of Bristol with his wife, Christine. He is an active member of The Sons of the American Legion Detachment of Connecticut Commander and St. Joseph Church. Rich joined the O'Brien family in 2017.
Rob, a lifelong resident of Bristol, was the owner of Casey’s seafood Market for 34 years. He is married to Susan and attended St. Joseph and St. Paul catholic High schools. Rob enjoys golfing and is an active member of the Hartford board of Baseball Umpires and St. Joseph church in Bristol. Rob joined the O'Brien family in 2016.
Terry is a lifelong resident of Bristol with his wife Patti. He retired from General Electric after 35 years as a tool and die maker. Terry enjoys fly fishing and fly tying in his spare time. Terry joined the O'Brien family in March of 2011.
Jack is a lifelong resident of Bristol with his wife Doreen. After serving our country in the United States Navy, he went to work for Bristol Water where he retired from. He is a member of the Elks club and St. Anthony Church. Jack joined the O'Brien family in 1994.
Tom is a lifelong resident of Bristol with his wife Rose. Tom served our country in the United States Army and later retired from the City of Bristol, Fire Department. He is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and enjoys traveling, fishing, and automobiles. Tom joined the O'Brien family in 2003.
Mark joined the O'Brien family in 2009.
Barry grew up in Fall River, MA and now has lived in Bristol for 58 years. He is a widower of his late wife, Joanne. Barry served our country in the United States Army and later retired from M & M Tennis Court Co. He enjoys walking, theater and is a member of Grace Baptist Church. Barry joined the O'Brien family in 2016.
