I never knew Gary's last name until I saw his obituary in the paper. I instantly recognized his face. We would chat at the Nature Center shows about music in general & the artists playing at the Center. He was always very friendly. He would recommend those guitar players that I would not want to miss. He made that little wooden room sound great! I will miss Gary & remember him. May God bless Gary & all his family.

Gary was a true gentleman and a wizard on the sound board. The concert audio was always true to the form for both audience and performer. Great sound men make great concerts, memorable experiences ... and I have so many fond memories of Gary at Roaring Brook. He made the music (and life) better for everyone around him. Hope he is pickin' on the back porch o'glory now.

I am so sad to hear of Gary's passing. We worked together at RPI/HGC for many years and Gary was always a great help to all of us. There was always someone having some sort of network issue and Gary always came to the rescue. Rest easy my friend and I am sure you are serenading the Angels up and in Heaven. RIP

Gary and I worked for many years together. He told me many interesting stories about the shows he engineered at the Roaring Brook Nature Center. Just like I do, he loved Star Trek, and also The Three Stooges where we would always laugh and joke about the different episodes.
He was a great guy. May he rest in peace.

Gary was a nice guy and was always very helpful to me when I had computer/ network issues. I worked with Gary for over 30 years at HGC/Rensselaer at Hartford. I remember the company picnics we had and all the good times we had enjoying his music especially when he and my other colleagues would play their guitars and sing. May he rest in peace.
With my deepest sympathy,
Natalie Sutera

Gary was a special guy. We met through our work at HGC. We would talk about nerdy things and also about music. It was something that stuck with me so many years later. RIP my friend.
